Dread seeing this – so many bad reviews and terrible box office. Skipped your review for the time being but will come back to it after I see the picture.
I fell in love with this, too! I said the exact same thing after I saw it – I may’ve just seen the best film of the year for me and ‘Babylon’ is now the one to beat for 2023. It was brilliant and I loved it so much I left the theatre and walked right back in to see it again. I can’t tell you the last time I did that.
I’m definitely going to see it again, I avoided all reviews and discourse until I’d seen it and was completely puzzled at all the negative reviews, I think it’s a masterpiece 🙌

It does seem to have gotten a lot of negative press and reviews but i absolutely loved it.
