I enjoyed this more than you, but I usually avoid horror – the closest I get is Hitchcock movies. This let it be fresh and new to me, which I understand it wasn’t, but not much can be after a few thousand years of storytelling. Same with Barbarian: even with the characters doing things that they wouldn’t really do, I quite enjoyed that.

I liked it. It’s a commercial horror that works pretty good, with good directing and good actors. It takes inspiration from a lot of movies but it has the capacity to talk about interesting subjects, like AI and human relationship in a very nice way. It makes laugh and sometimes it surprise. It’s not a masterpiece, but it’s that kind of commercial horror movie that I want to see often. And honstly now i’m very fond of it.
